Communities function better when neighbors keep in contact with each other regularly. Sharing safety measures as well as local incidents of crime in our neighborhood helps keep our lifestyle in the best that it can be!We had about 35 people join us for our Neighborhood Watch Meeting on June 6th. The appetizers were great. Spaggis Restuarant did a good job. We heard the latest neighborhood news from Officer Carolyn Lydick. She also told us how to avoid identity theft. Also Councilman Ray Musser talked to us about new development, council news, and the plane crash. A drawing for 2 free lunches was won by Ron and Dyani Bassler. We had some new attendees. I will be updating the Neighborhood Watch List and handing it out soon. National Night Out is held the first week in August every year. If anyone would like to host this event and coordinate it this year, let me know. |
